Lone Oak Montessori School is approved by the Maryland State Board of Education and the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI). AMI is an organization founded by Maria Montessori to maintain the integrity of her life's work.

The Lone Oak Montessori School has been accredited by AMI since our inception in 1981.

All Primary and Elementary teachers at Lone Oak Montessori School have Association Montessori International (AMI) diplomas and are approved by the Maryland State Board of Education.
